The Director of the National Museum of Natural Sciences, Dr. N. Manchuk, received the guest of honor of the “First International Conference of Eurasian Museums”, the Director of the National Central Museum of Kazakhstan, Berik Abdygaliuly, and the Director of the History Museum of Arkadak, Turkmenistan, Annakaryev Nurmurat, along with officials, on June 19, 2026. At the beginning of the meeting, the parties referred to the historical relations in the cultural and scientific spheres of the two countries and emphasized the broad potential for bringing the partnership between the museums to a new level. Within the framework of the meeting, it was discussed to cooperate in the following main areas: Scientific analysis and research: To launch joint research activities based on the collections of the two museums, paleontological and natural history finds; Exhibition organization: To organize joint temporary exhibitions to introduce the cultural heritage and natural wonders of the Eurasian region to the public; Strengthening human resource capacity: To organize regular professional training and programs, and to exchange experiences between curators, curators and specialists support; The parties agreed to sign a "Memorandum of Cooperation" in the near future to implement the above-mentioned activities and exchanged views. After the meeting, the delegation led by Berik Abdygaliuly, Director of the National Central Museum of Kazakhstan, and Annakaryev Nurmurat, Director of the History Museum of Arkadak, Turkmenistan, toured the exhibition halls and rare exhibits of our museum.
